Peugeot’s SR1 Hybrid Concept Unveiled

Peugeot’s SR1 hybrid roadster concept is scheduled for an official debut later this year at the Geneva Motor Show. The hybrid will get power from Peugeot’s HYbrid4 technology that puts a 1.6-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine in charge for the front wheels, while the rear wheels get power from a 95hp electric motor.
The net power output is 313hp, with US fuel efficiency at 48mpg. The three-seat hybrid has a removable plastic roof, crystal tubes in instrumentation to show current fuel consumption and remaining range, a classic timepiece, along with black nickel and satin chrome trim with traditional wood and leather inlays.
